Measure Goal
The goal of this document is to systematically estimate the electricity savings triggered by partial or complete renovations (replacement of the entire system) of an elevator system with a more efficient system.

Calculation Formulas
Creditable Electricity Savings
The cumulative electricity savings result from the difference between electricity consumption before and after the measure, multiplied by the reduction factor (0.75) and the standard effective duration.
Annual Electricity Consumption
Annual electricity consumption is calculated based on the number of annual operating days, daily idle/standby consumption and operating consumption.
Betriebsmodus
Daily electricity consumption in operating mode is calculated based on the number of daily trips, the load factor and the average cycle consumption.
Leerlauf/Standby-Modus
Daily electricity consumption in idle/standby mode is calculated based on power consumption and time ratio in idle mode, after 5 minutes and after 30 minutes in standby mode.
